She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Rachael (Richard) and Ricky; her sister Maria Annette; her grandmother Maria Annette; her nieces and nephews, Johnny (Reinette), Anthony (Crystal), Crystal (Abigail) and Monica; her great-nieces, Jazreal, Arrianna, Lunette, Deztini and Aylani; her great-nephew Donovan; her close friend Geraldine Montoya; her comadre Theresa Johnson; her husband Michael J. Ponce; her parents, Jose Sambran Trujillo (Sam) and Susie Martha Trujillo; and her grandparents, Esther, Presciliano Trujillo, Eloisa and Leandro Esquibel. She was also cherished by great uncles, great aunts, many cousins and friends.

A Mass was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (3424 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109).
