He was predeceased by : his wife Maxine "Tita" Elwell; his parents, Felipe Elwell and Concha Elwell; his brother Henry Elwell; his half-siblings, Pete Elwell, Tomasita Mora, Enalda Pohl, Atonia Mora and Vicky Griego; and his son-in-law Joseph Sandoval.
He is survived by : his children, William A. Elwell (Ruth), Patrick L. Elwell, Nancy A. Sandoval and Theresa M. Lovato (Phillip); his siblings, Lucy Gomez, Connie Gonzales and Richard Elwell; his grandchildren, Tyler S. Elwell, Brett M. Elwell (Kaleigh), Tory M. Elwell, Jennifer A. Esquivel (Elijah), Isaac J. Sandoval, Jacob A. Sandoval, Kaitlyn A. Lovato (Felippe) and Costa Rodrigues; and his great grandchildren, Laynee Jade, Myles Carter Rojas, Emilia Charlotte Esquivel and Charlie June Elwell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
