It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence VanAlstyne of Albany, New York, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Freeman VanAlstyne and Florence VanAlstyne (Mattick); and her husband Phillip. She is survived by : her son Robert Tomisman (Paulette); her grandchildren, Heather Blackwell (Erin) and Robert Tomisman; her great grandchildren, Alexander, William and Paul; and her siblings, Kenneth VanAlstyne, Karen Hooks, Diane Ortiz, William VanAlstyne, Debra Corcione and Bonnie Vogel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
