She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Viglucci and Carrie Viglucci; her husband David P. Whalen Sr.; her son-in-law Gregory Oldehoff; her sisters, Joan Carroll and Jean Medick; and her brothers-in-law, Peter Carroll and Donald Medick.

She is survived by : her children, Lori Oldehoff (late Gregory), Michele Whalen and David Whalen Jr. (Maureen); her grandchildren, Geoffrey Oldehoff (Stephanie), Brittany Murphy (Kenneth Jr.) and David Whalen III; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Gregory Oldehoff and Kenneth Murphy III. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
