She was predeceased by : her parents, Bedros Faelbachian and Mary Faelbachian; and her siblings, Victoria Ayvazian and Hagop Faelbachian. She is survived by : her husband Leon P. Dekermendjian; her children, Mark Dekermendjian (Dorothy), Pierre (Diana) and Sonia Sukljian (Moses); her grandchildren, Nubar, Levon (Erica), Dominick, Levonshant, Sophia (Sylvain), Natalie, Vincent, Moe Jr. and Christopher Daniel; and her sister Jenny Hayrabedian.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church (255 Spring Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
