He was predeceased by : his parents, Edmund Sr. McClary and Florence McClary (Ackerman); and his sisters, Elaine McClary and Christine Christman. He is survived by : his wife Laurie McClary (Calderwood); his children, Edmund A. McClary III (Angela) and Courtney Mattice (Keith); and his grandchildren, Kalia Fisher, Nyla McClary, Teaghan McClary, Lydia Oare and Elijah Mattice.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the A. G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the A. G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095).

Memorial donations in Edmund's memory may be made to the Tesiero Cancer Center for their care and attentiveness to Edmund over the past few years.
