We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2024, at the age of 68, Jeffrey H. Atwood (Middletown, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Atwood and Eleanor Atwood. He is survived by : his wife Meg; his daughters, Whitney Sienkiewicz (Andrew) and Abbye Atwood (Justin Liess); his siblings, Patricia Linn (Larry), Yvonne Wakeman (Gary), Gail Congalosi (Frank Iacketta) and Larry Atwood (Michelle); his in-laws, Fay Dildine (Ginny), Kim Fagan (Pat), Mark Dildine and Todd Dildine (Cheryl Dowd); and his pet Louie. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, countless friends.

In Jeff's memory, donations will be collected for Hospice for the loving and respectful care he received, as well as for the Sons of the American Legion Squad 151 to support community service efforts that were so close to his heart.

“I graduated with Jeff. On our class trip my eyeglasses fell into the water while a bunch of us were on a row boating trip. Jeff jumped into the water and retrieved them for me...always a gentleman...and only wonderful things to say about him. Deepest condolences to Jeff's family and friends...he will be surely be missed. I am truly saddened to learn of his passing...”
