We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024, at the age of 77, Salvatore Zaffuto (Yonkers, New York), born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Salvatore departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Salvatore. Though Salvatore may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Salvatore Zaffuto and Alida Martinez. He is survived by : his sons, Salvatore Zaffuto Jr. (Denise) and Peter Zaffuto (Chrissy); his siblings, Jerry Zaffuto and Lisa Arnold; his grandchildren, Savanna, Salvatore V. Zaffuto, Gabriella and Luke S. Zaffuto; and his former life partner Joanne Zaffuto (Joyce Knizeski). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc. (499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Raymond Cemetery (1201 Balcom Ave, Bronx, NY 10465).
