With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert F. Murphy (Ashland, Ohio), born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on May 14, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Murphy and Mildred Murphy; his son Roy; and his brother Steve. He is survived by : his wife Ruby; his son Robert; his grandson Chad (Nathan); and his sisters, Carolyn, Sharon and Patti (Reid).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heyl Funeral Home (227 Broad St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life Care Hospice of Wooster, Ohio.
