She was predeceased by : her husband Edward B. "Bud" Shew, Jr.; her daughter Mary Gen Zeoli (Steve); and her parents, Joseph Edmiston and Genevieve Edmiston. She is survived by : her children, Edward B. Shew, III (Bonnie), Anne S. Bradley, Joseph J. Shew (Nancy) and Lawrence D. Shew (Diane); her grandchildren, Matthew, Cole, Elyce, Ethan, David, Katie Shew, Nicholas, Joseph Zeoli and Emily Bradley; her great grandchild Sophia Shew; and her caregiver Augustinians of St. Thomas.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Pius X Church (220 Lawrence Rd, Broomall, PA 19008). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
