It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold W. Woodburn of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John H. Woodburn and Ethel M. Woodburn (Harris); and his siblings, Thomas Hickey, Terrance Hickey and Roseanne Hickey.

He is survived by : his wife Kathleen Woodburn (Devine); his children, Christine Woodburn (Matthew), Michelle Smith (Mark) and Michael H. Woodburn (Katelyn); his granddaughter Sophie "Sophielicious" Smith; and his siblings, Michael Hickey (Pam) and Ida Kier.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home, Inc. (3501 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Park (401 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236).

In lieu of any flowers or gifts, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Animal Rescue (humaneanimalrescue.org/donate/) or the Light of Life Rescue Mission (give.lightoflife.org/for/lol/).

Woody was a gifted teacher with tremendous knowledge of and insights to human motivation, leadership, and performance. I teased Woody endlessly that he should be teaching at GE or some other Fortune 50 company. Woody was that good. Woody was a good friend and a trusted advisor. My sincere condolences to Kathy and the entire family. May God rest his soul.”
