He was predeceased by : his son Leo Kern; his grandchild Brandin; his parents, Joseph Draxinger and Dolores Draxinger; and his sister Terri Draxinger.

He is survived by : his son Joseph Kern (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Matthew, Aryauna, Olivia, Oryiah, Phoenix and Keegan; his siblings, Diana Cacco (Jack), John Draxinger (Edie) and Eric Draxinger; and also Janet Kern. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ltd. Funeral Home (7663 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15239).
