She was predeceased by : her husband Raymond Recht; her parents, Nathan Malin and Anna Malin; and her brothers, David, George and Leonard Malin.

She is survived by : her children, James Recht and Cathy Recht Gold (Melvin); and her grandchildren, Mallory Gold (Jeremy Rudkin), Ashley Gold (Eli Glazier), Gigi of Levi Rudkin and Clara Gold Glazier. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ralph Schugar Chapel (5509 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
