We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024, at the age of 66, Phyllis Hooper in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gloria Jean Kitchen and William Ackles; and her siblings, Arlean Brown, Andrew Leon Hooper and William Thomas Hooper.

She is survived by : her friend Cheri Powe; her daughter Latusha Williams Freeman (Troy Freeman) of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandson Phillip Jordan; her great grandchildren, Semia and Heaven; her siblings, Cynthia Haston, Vanessa Anderson, LaNella Hooper-Williams (Martin Williams) and Kenneth Hooper; and her nieces and nephews, Sondra Slaughter, Andrew Hooper, Dominique Hooper, Mario Haston, Summer Haston, Trina Chavis, Terri Jones, Brittany Jones, Kevin Hooper, Gloria Hooper, Ebony Hooper, Bianca Hooper, LaShawnda Hooper and Kenny Hooper Jr.. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2629 Wylie Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
