We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joe Homer Holmes (Jewett, Texas). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sid Holmes and Irene Holmes; his wife Verlon Holmes; his sister Doris Blackmon; his nephew Randy Story; and his niece Kathy Blackmon.

He is survived by : his daughter Sandra Hughes; his son-in-law Bill; his great grandchildren, Michael Thompson and Katelyn Thompson; his nephews, Larry Story (Kim), Dale Story (Donna) and Bill Blackmon (Jeanne); and his niece Carol Bostain (Randy). He is also survived by mom, dad, grandparents and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sardis Cemetery.
