He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwina Watson (Fondren) and Joe Ed Watson; his stepparents, Glenn Brock and Mamie Watson; his siblings, Randy Watson, Dean Watson and Kathy Bruce; and his stepsisters, Glenda Bishop and Sharon Skains.

He is survived by : his wife Donna Donnell of Lufkin; his children, Kristie Watson, Laurie Dean Watson (Kris), Heather Watson, Brandi Havard (John) and Brandon Donnell (Jessica); his grandchildren, Madison Smith, Sarah Howard and Tyler Howard (Maegan); his great grandchildren, Scarlet Howard, Dillon Donnell, Neches Howard, Jenayah Watson, Christian Watson, Katy Howard, Tristen Havard, Jasper Donnell, Jaxyn Tant and Koltyn Tant; and his siblings, Judy Tobias and Bubba Roach. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904).
