He is survived by : his parents, Anita Darks and Charles Ray Thompson of Lufkin, Texas; his child Deovionnia Morrison of Lufkin, Texas; his grandchild Carter Moreland of Lufkin, Texas; his brother David Darks of Lufkin, Texas; his niece Daviana Darks of Lufkin, Texas; his aunts and uncles, Beverly Darks, Leslie Darks, Denise Darks, Brenda Cranford, Paul Jackson of Lufkin, Jerome Darks of Lufkin and David Jackson of Lufkin; and his spouse Markelia Donyale Morrison of Diboll, Texas.. He is also survived by family and his dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Colonial Mortuary Chapel (1600 Sayers St, Lufkin, TX 75904).
