We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2024, at the age of 95, Sara -Ella Collins Kurth of Lufkin, Texas, born in Huntsville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bolivar Lee Collins, Jr. and Lottie Belle Lockey; her son Roy Collins Kurth; her great grandchild Hannah Sara-Elise Hall; her husband Robert "Bobby" Lee Kurth; and her nephew Walter Connally Powell, Jr..

She is survived by : her daughter Karen Gertrude; her son-in-law Ronnie Hall; her son Robert "Bob" Kurth; her grandchildren, Ryan, Rusti Hall, Kristen Hall Reid, Ashley, Bob Allen and Annabelle Kurth; her great grandchildren, Daegan Reid, Hallie Beth, Harlie Grace, Bentley Ryann and Boston Mae Hall; and her sister Connally Powell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gipson Funeral Home (1515 S Chestnut St, Lufkin, TX 75901). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
