We bid farewell to Bobbie Jean Newgent Hagler of Odessa, Texas, born in Amarillo, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2024 at the age of 92. Bobbie Jean Newgent touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Tolbeart Newgent and Jackie Crow Newgent; her husband Leo Hagler; her son Larry Hagler; and her siblings, William Lynn Newgent and Lela Jo McElroy.
She is survived by : her daughter Linda Hagler (Temple) of Midland; her nephew Larry McElroy (Michelle) of Carrollton; her nieces, Sharon Sewell of Temple and Cindy Davis of Cedar Park; her cousins, Pam Corntassel of Miami, Tommy Corntassel of Ft. Worth, Jimmy Corntassel of Waco, Gary Newgent of Santa Fe and David Newgent of Navarre Beach, Florida.; her friends, Dr. Gene Lusk of San Angelo and James Browning of Albuquerque; and her nephews, Tim McGraw, Scott McGraw and Travis McGraw.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A celebration of life was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Golf Course Road Church of Christ (3500 W Golf Course Rd, Midland, TX 79703). A burial was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at the Resthaven Memorial Park - Midland (4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Western Hills Church of Christ.
