He was predeceased by : his parents, Tony Altimore and Mary Altimore; his brothers, Melroy and Lee; his sisters-in-law, Gladys and Dee; his niece Elaine Powers; and his in-laws, George and Isabel Mach.

He is survived by : his wife Dianna; his stepsons, Charles Horton (Jennifer) and Chad Horton (Kim); his siblings-in-law, Helen Altimore, Dennis Mach (Judy) and Donna Starkey (Glenn); and his nieces and nephews, Tammy Sangalli (Marc), Linda Altimore, Michael Altimore (Debbie), Charlotte Aguilar (Ruben), Wanda Eitemann (John), Eric Mach (Dustie), Rachel Wilson (Ryan) and Jake Starkey (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Evangelical Church (9018 Church St, Needville, TX 77461). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Evangelical Church Cemetery (9018 Church St, Needville, TX 77461).
