She was predeceased by : her daughter Anita Dore. She is survived by : her husband Bud Smith; her son Joe; her daughter-in-law Jackie Stock; and her sister Lois Capps.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel (1201 4th St, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A graveside service was held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Nesbitt Cemetery (2649 Rose Hill Rd, Bremond, TX 76629).
