She was predeceased by : her father Elmer Kuether; her husband David Bernhardt; her mother Ida Wehmeyer Kuether (Wehmeyer); her siblings, Jack Kuether (Carolyn) and Dorothy Kuether Beaujean (Albert); her nephews, Joseph Beaujean and Steven Kuether; and her niece Linda Larson (Mike).

She is survived by : her great-nephew Philip Andre Beaujean; and her nieces and nephews, Rebecca Beaujean Suggs (Billy), Albert Beaujean Jr. (Sue), Andre Beaujean (Lisa), Michelle Beaujean Fulk (Charles), Luanna Kuether Lawrence (Mark) and Tara Kuether Hocevar. She is also survived by 11 great nieces & nephews, and 18 great, great nieces and nephews.
