She was predeceased by : her husband Bernie Gehrig; her parents, LeRoy Horneck and Ellenora Horneck (Sass); her siblings, Joan Eldridge (Bob) and Ken Horneck (Betty); and her grandson Ben Coenen.

She is survived by : her children, Cheri Coenen (Mike), Pam Coffaro (Cliff), Kim Schulte (Greg), Kevin Gehrig (Lindsley) and Tammy Kaczorowski (Kevin); her grandchildren, Brianna Pennell (Kyle), Morgan Schulte (Zach), Elizabeth Coffaro, Andrew Coffaro, Jacob Kaczorowski and Sammy Kaczorowski; and her great grandchild Case Pennell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
