She is survived by : her children, Doris Uhlig Theune (Marc) of Sheboygan and Karl Uhlig (Rochelle) of Clemmons, NC; her grandchildren, Michael John Theune (Lindsay Semph) of Chicago, Allison Margaret Card (Damon) of Raleigh, NC, Monika Joyce Uhlig-Mitchell of Clemmons, NC and Benjamin Max Uhlig (Angéle) of San Francisco, CA; her great grandchildren, Ainsley Grace and Dylan Marie Card; her siblings, Elisabeth Hilbig of Germany and Gerhard (Elsbeth) of Germany; and her sisters-in-law, Pütten (Sheboygan), Wanda Uhlig, Renate (Guenther) and Niggemann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Zion Covenant Church.
