I’m so sorry to have just seen about Marsha’s passing on Facebook. Marsha was good people — kind & genuine. We never worked directly together but we were often in the same district & spent many hours on the phone together — especially when I was Bruce’s secretary. I enjoyed our time together & considered her a friend. Bruce — There are no words good enough to express my deep sadness & heartfelt sympathy. — Hoop

The late Dr. Lillie D. Ward taught me as a student majoring in Computer Science back in the early to mid 1980’s at The Fort Valley State College. She was always encouraging me. She saw so much potential in me, and she always encouraged me to stay focused & to do my best. I wanted to succeed and make her proud. In 2025, I retired from a 35 year successful career in IT. I thank her so much for her part in preparing me. My life wouldn’t have been the same. I admired her so much.

Extending my deepest condolences… Grandma Miller will be fondly remembered. Her humor and lighthearted demeanor are unmatched. I know your hearts are aching during this time of loss but I believe she is forever here in spirit. She always made me feel so welcomed and loved. She was inviting and extremely funny. Loved being in her presence. I’ll cherish the memories I was privileged enough to make. I’ll dearly miss the unplanned dinner meet ups at Bdubs and her warm hugs. Sending all my love. .

Jed, A great man. It’s an honor or to have shared years of friendship, music and real conversations. You will be missed. I will be listening Jed… play on.

Ron was a good guy. We worked at Plum Creek sawmill for many years together. We had contests on the green chain to see who could pull off the most 6/4 boards stacked on top of each other. Ron always seemed to beat us. His red and black 68 Dodge Charger was a well known car cruising mainstreet in C Falls. I was fortunate enough to own that car in later years. I will miss seeing Ron at car shows. He will be greatly missed.

I worked with Jean for many years at Kelsey-Hayes/TRW in Jackson. She was our shop nurse and as tire old saying goes, “to know her was to love her”. So very true about Jean. Everyone loved Jean. Such a kind and caring friend. Not just a coworker but a friend to so many of us.
