He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Uyen Trang Lieu; his children, David Lieu, Eugenia Lieu, Camilla Lieu and Olivia Lieu; and his grandchildren, Garet, Jeremy, Clinton, Adrian and Nathan.
