He was predeceased by: his parent Cliff Eppelstun; and his parent-in-law Max Hunter. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie; his children-in-law, Emily Essex, Neville Essex, Rachael Troy, Adam Troy and Grace Eppelstun; his parent Joan Eppelstun; and his parent-in-law Janice Hunter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the service to the Herd of Hope - a charity close to Scott's heart.
