We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2025, at the age of 103, Mary Maitland Mewing (Lismore, New South Wales) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary Maitland departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary Maitland. Though Mary Maitland may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Douglas; and her children, Wayne (Carol), David (Leigh), Chris (Jenny), Julie (Allan) and Corinne (Garry). She was also cherished by great nan of her 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Pauls Presbyterian Church (188 Keen St, Lismore NSW 2480, Australia).
