She was predeceased by: her daughter Nicole Fitzsimons; and her father George Moore. She is survived by: her mother Gail Moore (Vince Fitzsimons); her children, Matt Fitzsimons and Kate Gladdin; her daughter-in-law Kate Fitzsimons; her grandsons, Jack, Toby and Noah Fitzsimons; her son-in-law Nathan Gladdin; and her siblings, Karen Gannon and Geoff Moore.

Julie devoted herself to the Nicole Fitzsimons Foundation, named in honor of her beautiful daughter who like Julie was tragically killed overseas while on holiday.
