He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Heather; his children, Rohan, Shruti, Elysha and Troy; and his sister Helen.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Taronga Conservation Society of Australia would be warmly appreciated.

I reflect on knowing Ian for 50 years, and what a wonderful contribution he made to others, on and off the cricket field. It was an honour to play cricket for 15 years under Ian, and I have many great memories of his leadership, our comradeship and our many games. We will all miss him.
