With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gavril Tzolakidis (Wollongong, New South Wales), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gavril farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gavril is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Panayota; his parents, Kalyopi and Panayotis; his children, Despina, Pano (Keti) and Popi (Teri); and his sibling Nico. He was also cherished by his loving family and many dear friends.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home (34 Belmore St, Wollongong NSW 2500, Australia). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church (39 Atchison St, Wollongong NSW 2500, Australia).
