She was predeceased by : her sons, Wayne and Colin Morris; and her brothers, Keith and Leonard. She is survived by : her children, Brenda Kororiko (Tama Kororiko), Ken Buckholz and Paula Morris (Wayne Hayden); her grandchildren, Aaron, Nathan, Clem, Zane and Tahneale; and her siblings, Frederick and Helen. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.

“I am so sorry to hear of Mavis's passing. I know she was a very good friend of Colleen Woods (my step sister) who, I believe passed this last February 18th. I wondered why I hadn't heard from Mavis for a while as she was my only connection with Colleen. My sincere condolences for your loss - she was a very good and loving person..
