He was predeceased by: his wife Allie-Jean; and his son John. He is survived by: his children, Kay (Bryan), Michelle, Susan and Adored; and his grandchildren, Bodie, Dempsey, Kris, Taija, Jess, Helena, Patrick, Tim, Sam, Steven and Heidi.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Gabriel's Anglican Church. A burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at the Biloela Lawn Cemetery (184 Gladstone Rd, Biloela QLD 4715, Australia).
