“Oh Phyl.. I just found this on the internet.. I am so sorry that we haven't managed to stay in touch in recent years. We knew from last contact that Lawrie was unwell but I couldn't reach you when I tried to call either your home or mobile number. Now they are both disconnected and I don't know if Sue is still in Townsville. I'm just hoping that one of you picks up this message. I will miss Lawrie and his infectious smile. I will always see him as he was in the JCU days. R.I.P., you lovely man.”
