She was predeceased by : her parents, August Thys and Elizabeth Thys (DeSutter); her husband Paul; her brother Frank Thys; her sister-in-law Margaret Thys; her children-in-law, Connie Scandridge and Arthur Pozzi; and her nephew John Thys.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Daniel Scandridge of Hartwick, Jim Scandridge (Jeannine) of Victor and Jean Pozzi of Bend, Oregon; and her great grandchildren, Brien Scandridge, Paul Scandridge (P. J.), Tanya Rajtora, Kristin Nunnelley, Lisa Taylor, Jill Flores and Steven Coats. She is also survived by 2 great-great grandchildren; and three nephews.
