He was predeceased by: his siblings, Irene, Patricia, Brian and Merlyn. He is survived by: his children, Darren, Gregory, Shane, Aran and Kevin; and his brother Gary. He is also survived by Grandfather to his Grandchildren.

Mr Aran Murphy lit a candle

“I finally understand what it really feels like to lose a loved one. My last hero, higher teacher and mentor, his sporting talents will live on through his family and ours, we are all family. What really distraught me most we never really got to say goodbye, secondly, I thought we’d get to see forever together and lastly, how our time together was unfortunately cut short. I will merge the beginning and the end with timelessness and share eternal happiness with you dad. Love you Dad and Family”
