He was predeceased by: his wife Ursula; his parents, John Matthews and Marie Matthews; and his brothers, Jack (Claire) and Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn (Racheal), Debbie (Phillip) and Dale (Kylie); and his siblings, Alan (Aileen), Lois (Bill Badcock), Mary (Elvin Fist) and Loyd.
