It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Fairchild Bennett (Colac, Victoria), who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Peter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley; his children, Andrew, Eric (Kellie) and Lorraine; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Symantha and Amelie.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Colac Uniting Church (25 Hesse St, Colac VIC 3250, Australia).
