“Dear Debbie and all the Gibbon family, Belated condolences for the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Today I heard of her passing. I first remember Val as President of the North Geelong Primary School Mothers' Club. I was only a pupil but I remember her so well and when I began working at Ford Motor Company we became work mates and I know why I remembered her because she was such a caring human being.
