“Dear Matthew, Cathy, Richard and family, I will always treasure Jill’s friendship. She has been a great friend since we met in 1957 and we had planned to have lunch this week as I am in town from New Zealand. I know how much she loved you all and she loved her grandchildren very much. I named my daughter after her and we loved having both Jill and Phil to stay back in 1979 in NZ. My deepest sympathy to you all, Kay Curtin (Shaw).”
