She was predeceased by: her husbands, Vince Major and Skip Andrews; her daughter Kathy Doré (Jean Louis Cote); her stepson Don Andrews; and her parents, Albert Kyer and Annie Kyer.
She is survived by: her children, Elwyn Major, Glendon Major, Brian Major (Jenny), Carl Major (Lyse), Wendy Lefebvre (Rejean) and Christopher Major (Karen); her stepchildren, Lee Andrews, Mike Andrews and Jane Luczliew; and her siblings, Kay Amell (late Frank) and Kyerson Kyer (Darleen). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (18314 County Rd 2, Cornwall, ON K6H5R5).
