George William Barber Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George William Barber (Wodonga, Victoria), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jean; his children, Karyn and Trevor; his son-in-law Mark; and his grandson John.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Porepunkah Community Hall, Martley St, Porepunkah.
