It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Townend (Balfour, British Columbia), born in Wadena, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Townend and Jessie Townend; and his brother Raymond Townend. He is survived by: his siblings, Ted Townend, Marilyn Markowski (Otto), Margaret Burgess (Bob) and Judy Tessier (Darlene Townend); his daughters, Jodi (Tim) and Holly (Brad); his grandchildren, Taylor, Rachel, Devon and Jackson; and his wife Darlene O'Genski (Darlene). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
