He was predeceased by: his parents, David Cyr and Dora Cyr; his brothers, Andrew, Rene and Gerald; and his granddaughter Jenna Rene.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Drinkwalter; his daughters, Sharleen McBlain and Kelly Cyr; his grandchildren, Laura, Chalise and Jaydan; his great grandchildren, Ella, Rylen and Olivia; and his siblings, Laura Wallace, Richard Cyr, Michael Cyr and Linda Cyr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
An adventurous and independent soul, Roger travelled extensively, spending time in Mexico, Cambodia, Vietnam, and especially Thailand, where he spent many winters over a sixteen-year period before the COVID-19 pandemic.
