Heather MacKay Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heather MacKay (Nelson, British Columbia), who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 63. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus MacKay and Mary MacKay. She is survived by: her brothers, Dan (Denny), Bob, Gord (Rachel) and James (Barb); her significant other Andrew Kabatoff; her stepchildren, Helen, Nick, Dustin and Katy (Levi); her grandsons, Caleb (Annabell) and John (Ashley); her great grandchild Anastasia; and her mother-in-law Vera Kabatoff. She is also survived by Her father and Vera; her nieces and nephews; and her stepchildren and their children and grand children.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Grand Forks Gospel Chapel (7048 Donaldson Dr, Grand Forks, BC V0H1H0).
