Isabel Wiese Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2026, at the age of 91, Isabel Wiese (Nelson, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Isabel had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Isabel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Young and Barbara Young. She is survived by: her children, Heather and Gerald; her grandsons, Jason Currie and Justin Currie (Molly); and her great grandchildren, Kira and Alexandra. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in law as well as many good friends.
