He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his parents, Olive Chambers and John Cecil Chambers; his siblings, George, Ruth Makay and Muriel Kinahan; and his daughter-in-law Janine Chambers.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Sue Gelinas; his sons, Jack Jr. (Lynn), Jim and Ken (Cindy); his grandsons, Michael (Lydia), Dan (Lareena), Chris (Carlie), Jason (Kim) and Ken (Beth); and his great grandchildren, Alice, Chloe, Cashus, Nolan and Ryan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
