Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kathleen Maley in Nelson, British Columbia, who passed away at the age of 80, on April 16, 2026. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kathleen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her sisters, Molly and Monica. She is survived by: her husband Ian; her children, Chris, Anthony and Liam; and her siblings, Eileen and Terry. She is also survived by her loving family and a community of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice, in honour of Kathleen's lifelong commitment to helping others.
