She was predeceased by: her parents, Vada Kleef and Theodore Kleef; her husband Alan James Dawson; her son Alan George Dawson; and her siblings, George, Audrey, Maudie, Janie and Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Donali McCulloch (Brian), Ken Dawson (Anca) and Loreli Dawson; her sister Helen Mukanik; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Kleef and Clay Sealy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
