He was predeceased by : his parents, Peggy MacDonald and James MacDonald; and his siblings, James MacDonald, Jean Motlock, Alta Walmsley and Marg Lightburn.

He is survived by : his child Merle (Ireton); his granddaughter Debora; his wife Merle; his daughter Debora Pedersen (Don); his granddaughter Melinda Pedersen Nichole (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Anikin Pedersen, Bodhi and Bennett Croteau.
